Harrison Lock Family Butchers
Next Step Sites built a website for Harrison Lock Family Butchers, a traditional independent butcher in Brough. The site was shaped around its products, sourcing story and the familiar ways customers contact the shop and place orders.

01 · The business
Business introduction
Harrison Lock Family Butchers is a traditional family butcher serving its local community. The website gives the business room to explain its products, the people behind the counter and the sourcing story that matters to its customers.
02 · The brief
What they needed
The site needed to communicate product quality and provenance in a way that could reach younger customers, and make ordering straightforward without presenting the business as an online shop.
03 · The website
What we built
The project brought together business and product information, team details and contact routes for orders through the channels the business uses, including Facebook and WhatsApp. The content also supported updates such as the weekly raffle, video, seasonal features and Christmas-related updates.
Project sourcing information included grass-fed beef, free-range pork from Hotham, Yorkshire lamb, English chicken including Soanes, and Laveracks pastries.

What the website helps people do
Visitors can learn about the business and its products, understand the sourcing story, and choose a direct contact or ordering route. The site supports the shop’s way of working; it does not offer ecommerce checkout.
His ongoing help and support is invaluable to myself and my business as I really wouldn’t know what to do without him.
